Littlewick Green Cricket Club

Membership Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Membership Terms and Conditions set out the expectations and responsibilities of all members of Littlewick Green Cricket Club ("the Club"). By joining or renewing membership of the Club, members (or the parent/carer of a junior member) agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, together with the Club's Constitution, Policies and Codes of Conduct.

The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be made available on the Club website and through the Club's Pitchero membership system.

Membership

Membership is open to everyone regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or belief, subject to the Club Constitution and available capacity.

Membership is renewed annually and is subject to payment of the appropriate subscription, where applicable.

The Club reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership where an individual's conduct is considered to bring the Club or the game of cricket into disrepute, or where continued membership is not considered to be in the best interests of the Club or its members.

Codes of Conduct

All members agree to:

* Behave respectfully towards players, officials, volunteers, spectators and visitors.
* Uphold the Spirit of Cricket and the values of Littlewick Green Cricket Club.
* Comply with all applicable ECB Regulations, including safeguarding, anti-discrimination and general conduct requirements.
* Follow all Club policies and procedures.

Safeguarding

Littlewick Green Cricket Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone involved in cricket.

All members agree to comply with the Club Safeguarding Policy Statement and any related safeguarding procedures.

Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to the Club Safeguarding Officer.

Photography, Filming and Live Streaming

The Club may photograph, film and live stream matches, training sessions and Club events, including through the use of the FrogBox live-streaming platform.

By becoming a member, individuals acknowledge that photography, filming and live streaming may take place as part of normal Club activities.

Members (or parents/carers of junior members) who have concerns regarding the use of images should notify the Club during registration or contact the Club Safeguarding Officer. The Club will consider all requests sensitively and, where reasonably practicable, take appropriate steps to respect those wishes.

Communications

The Club uses a variety of communication methods including Pitchero, email, WhatsApp and social media to communicate with members.

Members are responsible for ensuring their contact details remain accurate and up to date.

Important notices relating to fixtures, training, safeguarding, membership and Club business may be distributed using these platforms.

Personal Information

The Club will collect, store and process personal information only for legitimate Club purposes and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Information about how personal data is used is set out in the Club's Privacy Policy.

Membership Fees

Membership subscriptions and any associated fees are determined by the Club Committee.

Payment of membership fees does not guarantee selection for any team or participation in any specific fixture or event.

Refunds will be considered at the discretion of the Club Committee.

Health and Safety

Members are expected to:

* Take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others.
* Follow instructions issued by coaches, captains, officials and Club volunteers.
* Inform the Club of any relevant medical conditions or emergency contact changes where appropriate.

Participation in cricket and associated activities is undertaken at the member's own risk.

Volunteers

The Club relies heavily upon volunteers.

Members are expected to treat all volunteers with courtesy and respect and, where possible, contribute positively to the running of the Club.
